Makkai Masala Poori (cornmeal)
I always take pleasure in trying out various types of breads with different flour. I have had few failures but then there is always learning from our failures! Makkai poori was one of the failures in the past but not anymore
Let me take your through the recipe and hope it is successful.

Ingredients (approximate 8 pooris)
one cup makkai atta
2/3 cup whole wheat flour
2 medium, boiled, peeled and grated potatoes
salt as per taste
half teaspoon hing
one teaspoon ajwain
one teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder
2tablespoon ghee
room temperature water for kneading
Methods
Mix all the ingredients as above (except water) until you get a crumbs. now add little water and work on a smooth firm dough. add water by tablespoon to work on the dough. rest it for 20mins
Roll out flat thick pooris and deep fry in hot oil
